A deliciously creamy dressing that adds flavor to your salads and dishes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar or lemon juice
  • pinch of sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Add chopped parsley, dill, chives, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  3. Add vinegar or lemon juice for tang. Include a pinch of sugar if desired for balance.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning or consistency as needed. Add more buttermilk if too thick.
  5. Transfer to a jar or container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. Shake or stir before using. Serve as dressing, dip, or spread.

Notes

  • This dressing can be served as a dip for vegetables or as a sauce for grilled meats.
  • It’s best to let it sit in the fridge to meld the flavors before serving.
