Description

A delicious and easy snack made with Ritz Bitz, chocolate, and peanut butter!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 box (8 ounces) Peanut Butter Ritz Bitz
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, and 1/4 cup unsalted butter. Place the pan over low heat and stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and fully melted. Be careful not to let it scorch.
  2. Open the 8 ounce box Peanut Butter Ritz Bitz and pour them into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Remove the melted chocolate mixture from the heat and immediately pour it over the Ritz Bitz. Use a spatula to gently toss and coat the crackers evenly.
  4. Let the coated crackers cool slightly for about 2-3 minutes to prevent the powdered sugar from melting when added.
  5. Add 1/2 cup powdered sugar (you can use more if you prefer a thicker coating) to the bowl. Toss everything together until the crackers are fully coated. Alternatively, transfer the mixture to a large zip-top bag, add the powdered sugar, seal, and shake until coated.
  6. Spread the coated Ritz Bitz onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or wax paper. Let them cool completely at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  7. Once cooled, transfer the Puppy Chow to an airtight container or serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

  • This snack is perfect for parties or as a quick treat.
  • Adjust the amount of powdered sugar to your taste for a thicker coating.
