Description

Delicious homemade donuts made easy with cake mix!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk (light or not)
  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Mix together melted butter, eggs, buttermilk and cake mix in a bowl until smooth (it will be thick).
  3. Add mixture to pint freezer bag and cut end off.
  4. Spray donut pan with non stick spray and squeeze mixture into pan (barely halfway full).
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes or until donut springs back.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use full-fat buttermilk.
  • Donuts can be glazed or dusted with sugar after baking.
