Delicious crispy rice treats made with marshmallows and butter, perfect for a sweet snack!
Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons butter (To grease the pan and mix with marshmallows.)
- 10 oz marshmallows (or 4 cups of mini marshmallows) (Gooey main ingredient, can use flavored marshmallows for a twist.)
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal (The base of the treats.)
- Food coloring (Optional, for adding color to the marshmallow mixture.)
- Sprinkles (Optional, for decoration.)
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Avoid letting it brown.
- Once the butter is melted, add the marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted.
- If using food coloring, add a few drops to the melted marshmallows and mix until the desired color is reached.
- Remove the pan from heat and stir in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the greased pan, spreading and pressing it down gently.
- If desired, sprinkle with sprinkles before the mixture cools.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

- Store in an airtight container for freshness.
