Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant but not burnt.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer gently. Season with salt and pepper.
- Whisk in grated parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
- Top with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of garlic based on your preference.
- For added flavor, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes.
