Description

This baked chicken dish combines tender chicken breasts with sautéed zucchini and a blend of cheeses for a delicious meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lbs)
  • 2 medium fresh zucchinis, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella and cheddar blend)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté sliced zucchini for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
  4. Add seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides (approximately 5 minutes per side).
  5. In a baking dish, layer the sautéed zucchini and chicken, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly and golden.
